The highly anticipated fighting role playing video game sequel "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is just weeks away from its official release. In order to make sure that the hype for the game's release stays elevated, Bandai Namco Entertainment has been streaming gameplay videos for the past few days.

Over the weekend, Bandai Namco featured a preview of Majin Vegeta with a video that showcased his different movement sets and attacks. Last Friday, Bandai Namco Europe streamed a gameplay video for the game's "Depths of Despair" mission.

The mission itself can be played with up to 5 other players with the team taking on Vegeta and his Giant Ape form. Based on the video, it would likely take a lot of teamwork to take down Vegeta's Ape form as he will literally be able to throw parts of the stage at players.

Along with releasing several gameplay videos for the upcoming game, the game's publisher has also announced the game's open beta schedules, as well as the different special editions it will be offering to players. The game's open beta testing will be open to all PlayStation 4 players starting Thursday, Oct. 14.

The game will reportedly be offered with different special editions including a Collector's edition, a Deluxe edition, and a standard version with a pre-order bonus. The most expensive of the three editions will be the Collector's edition as it contains a rather large Son Goku figurine towering at 13.4-inch in height along with everything else that is contained in the Deluxe and pre-order editions.

The Deluxe edition, on the other hand, will let players get early access to play as Future Trunks. The package also contains that game's season pass which will grant players access to the game's upcoming DLC expansion packs.

The standard pre-order version of the game will be giving players access to additional playable characters which will include characters from the franchise's hit anime television series "Dragon Ball Super."

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on Oct. 25 for North America, and Oct. 28 for Europe.
