Fans who have been waiting patiently for the release of the upcoming fighting role-playing video game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are of course always on the lookout for new information and details regarding the new title. Fortunately, Bandai Namco is almost always happy to oblige, and the company has continuously released trailers and teasers for their upcoming sequel.

Just recently, the company had showcased some new information regarding the upcoming game in the latest issue of V-Jump magazine in Japan. Some fans in the country were, fortunately, gracious enough to upload a video (via SaiyanGamer) that showcased the spread that was put out on the magazine.

The scans from the latest issue confirmed the addition of a new character that will be added into the new game, specifically the Namekian named Nail. The Namekian that was originally showcased in "Dragon Ball Z" will apparently be a playable character in the new game. Nail will also play a big part in the game's story mode.

Most fans will remember his debut in the Namek saga of the hit anime television show, where he was also seen fusing with Piccolo.

Aside from Nail, the magazine also reveals that Mecha Cooler will also be a playable character and is part of the story mode as well. Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue versions will also be available when the game is released, and not as DLC characters as was in the original title.

Minor characters such as Bulma and Dende will also be in the game, but only as non-playable characters or NPCs.

A closed beta for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is set to be launched next month. The closed beta has been announced to run from Oct. 8 to Oct 10. It will then be followed by an open beta running from Oct. 14 to Oct. 17. Both betas will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 players.

As for the game itself, it is scheduled to be released worldwide on Oct. 25 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and for Windows PC.
