'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' news: Goku Black's Super Saiyan Rose form could be released via DLC

 Bandai Namco

With the new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" game to be released on Oct. 28, a lot of fans are still pretty hyped up about what the game can bring, and as such some new details have been revealed, with the game's pre-order bonus being Goku Black, the antagonist from the "Dragon Ball Super." While that is certainly good, a newer piece of information might turn out to be a huge disappointment for them.

According to the Bitbag, Bandai Namco's mistake with the first game was to make Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta a pre-order exclusive. The reason behind it is that fans really loved this character and a lot of them were not able to get their hands on him. Furthermore, after that, he cannot be bought by any means ever since, compounding the disappointment.

However, learning from their mistakes, Bandai Namco will now ensure that the pre-order exclusive for the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game, Goku Black, will be available for purchase some time after the game's release. Of course, fans are certainly excited about this, especially those who have come to love this villain from the "Dragon Ball Super" series. Also, as a way to make amends with the fans, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta will also be available in the game's in-disc roster.

Sadly, Goku Black's recently revealed Super Saiyan Rose version will not be in the game, and as such he will only have his base form. This could possibly be due to the fact that Bandai Namco may have slightly less than desirable coordination with Toei Animation.

However, JHB news reports that the original "Dragon Ball" characters will not be featured in this new game, such as the young Goku who rides his magical clouds. But Bandai Namco announced that if demand is met, a DLC might be released for these characters along with Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black.
