Getting close to its launch next week, Bandai Namco revealed another character in a new trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

It is now confirmed that assassin Hit, a fighter from Universe 6, will join the roster in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." The new video highlights the fight between Goku and Hit in the inter-universe tournament that happened in the early episodes of the anime adaptation "Dragon Ball Super."

With Hit already confirmed for the roster, it is now revealed that the game sequel will continue on with some of the supposed events in the anime adaptation. Prior to Hit, other characters from "Dragon Ball Super," such as Goku Black and Future Trunks, are confirmed to be part of the game sequel. Aside from the recently-revealed characters, signature fighters for the franchise, such as Majin Vegeta, Pan, and the rest of the Z warriors, are also revealed to be included in the game.

Meanwhile, aside from the trailer reveal, a new gameplay video featuring Hit's skills and powers against Future Trunks — the one from the on-going arc in "Dragon Ball Super" — was also published.

While Bandai Namco has not yet confirmed what type of stories will make it to the sequel, it is already expected that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature new and improved gameplay for the story mode, expert missions, parallel quests, and master quests, on top of the usual gameplay from the original "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" title. The character roster was expanded too, and much like the original game, fans also expect post-launch content such as additional character DLC and costumes, as well as gameplay expansions, to make it to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will launch on Oct. 25 in North America and on Oct. 28 in Europe. The new game will be launched for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
