"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has just launched for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game retains many elements of the original, but now, with a few improvements and a brand new campaign story set several years following the events of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse."

As noted by Game Revolution, those who have played the first game will have an advantage over others as long as they have their save file in their console or PC. After starting the game, a prompt will appear and will ask the player if they want to transfer their character from the first game to the second.

By accepting this, the player can pick one character they want to transfer. All of the equipment that the chosen character is wearing will be present in the second game while the other equipment and clothing that are not being worn will be converted into Zeni and TP Medals.

This will allow the player to have extra resources to power up their character and get better gear without the need of buying some form of DLC or micro-transaction.

From there the next important step is to properly figure out what kind of character the player is going to use for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Like the first game, there are only five playable races available: human, Frieza's race, Saiyans, Majins, and Namekians.

The Earthling human is stated to have the most balanced stats while Frieza's race have the highest speed but lower damage output. Namekians have the best health and stamina recovery while the Saiyans have the most brutal attack options.

Male Majins have higher health but slower movement while the female Majins have quick speed and lower health stats. Both Majin options are also stated to have the best stats in terms of defense but they do not have many offensive options given they have low stamina recovery.
