'Dragon Ball Xenoverse': tricks to level up unveiled

Bandai Namco Games Europe

The massive multiplayer online game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" has captured the attention of both newbies and the most hardcore gamers worldwide. The game, launched by Bandai Namco early this year, combines the much-loved "Dragon Ball" universe with an action-packed, multiplayer, RPG-style gameplay. Because of its rising popularity, online game guide PrimaGames came up with different tips and tricks on how players can level up fast and truly enjoy the game.

Players new to the game are introduced to Tokitoki City, serving as the central core for the entire game. Here, they can go on quests, battle with each other, and collect items for upgrades. They can also create up to eight character slots.

PrimaGames advises gamers to play through the entire main story missions first, since low-level characters won't have access to Parallel Quests yet. Story missions can be played by speaking with Trunks and using the portal in Tokitoki City, near the Plaza of Time.

Gamers can choose to create a custom character between the races in the "Dragon Ball" universe. They can choose details from a Saiyan, an Earthling, a Namekian, a Majin, and the Frieza Clan. If they want to create another character with a different set of attributes, it will be much easier to level up.

The newly-created character can level up faster with Parallel Quest #53. Most players say that this is the easiest quest in the game, and will net a new character tens of thousands of experience points based on the rankings at the end of the mission. An accomplished mission on this stage with a rank B will give out around 30 thousand to 40 thousand experience points, jumping a new character's level at least five numbers up.

For maximum level up points, PrimaGames recommends that players do Parallel Quest #52 next. This will be just as easy as the previous mission, and will net players double the level-up points.
