"Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden," the newest video game offering inspired by the eponymous long-running wildly popular anime, will be out soon so Bandai Namco Games released a demo of the Nintendo 3Ds exclusive to give gamers a foretaste of what they are in for with the new title.

Players can now grab the demo from the Nintendo eShop or from this QR code. In it are awesome battles they can engage in as Goku, Kid Gohan, Vegeta, and Majin Buu. They will also have Hercule, Tien, Great Saiyaman, Korin, Mercenary Tao, Super Uub, and Turtle for Z assist characters.

Gamers can play to their hearts' content with the demo — win battles and play as the cult-favorite warriors. Those who transfer their saved data to the official game will entitle them access to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, the hero's most powerful form to date.

Gamers can download the demo and experience the title as the wait for the full game closes in. While on it, they can prepare for the super-charged clashes and action-packed melee, led by Goku, who will be sporting blue locks as part of his new intimidating form. Vegeta, notably, will get the same new fearsome form.

Since the game will be out in less than two weeks, Bandai Namco is striving to keep the hype up. A commercial for the highly-anticipated fighting game was recently aired in Japan and it features two youngsters transforming into Goku and Frieza, which the game virtually does.

The roster will expand to 24 characters, including Cell, Beerus, Android 18, Trunks and many more, when the full game is officially launched in Japan on June 11. It is still unknown if "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" will be made available in other regions but many gamers are undoubtedly craving for it.
