Popular anime "Dragon Ball Z" is getting another video game adaptation. Titled "Dragon Ball Fighter Z," the game released its official story trailer on Nov. 2.

The trailer was uploaded to Bandai Namco Entertainment's YouTube Channel. The trailer begins with a worried Bulma fretting over the player character. The player character doesn't remember who he is and Bulma begins to fret, telling him that he's none other than Goku and that this charade has gone on long enough. She shows him his own reflection and Goku is stunned.

The trailers boast a "Dragon Ball world that no one has seen before." Something strange is going on in the "Dragon Ball Universe." Powerful fighters are dropping unconscious one by one, and clones of these fighters are appearing in large groups. Players will take control of iconic "Dragon Ball Characters" and explore the game's given areas to figure out the mystery behind these strange occurrences.

"Dragon Ball Fighter Z" will contain 3 arcs. How the things play out will be up to the players. The trailer also featured androids 21 and 16. What followed after their introduction was a series of explosive fights between the heroes of "Dragon Ball" and the supposed villains of this story.

A gameplay trailer for the game has also been released. Similar to "Tekken" and "Mortal Combat," the trailer advertises a side-scrolling, 2D brawling type of game. It also features graphics that look very much like the anime's own. Fans of both the anime and games will be in for a treat.

The game "Dragon Ball Fighter Z" will be coming out on Jan. 26 2018 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game's release date was announced Bandai Namco US' Twitter page on Oct. 23.
