The first trailer for the new "Dragon Ball Z" movie has finally been released, and it shows the most hated villain in the series. Frieza is set to come back to destroy the peace that Earth inhabitants have been enjoying before his return.

In the latest trailer that was released in Japan, the newly transformed ruthless villain stands in front of Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, as well as the other Z heroes. According to the translated narration, Frieza is back to take revenge against Son Goku.

The new trailer features the last remaining henchmen under Frieza's commands as they use the Dragonballs to try to summon back their master. But instead of reviving the Frieza that they know, the henchmen are able to call a new Frieza from another dimension. This time, the new Frieza comes in a purple and gold color, and he appears to be stronger and more capable to fight against Super Saiyan 3 Goku.

The September issue of the V Jump magazine from Shueisha reportedly contains an announcement saying that a new "Dragon Ball Z" movie will come out in spring. It specifically mentioned that the film will be released during the Golden Week series in Japan. The article in the magazine also confirmed the news that the new movie will feature a brand new story, just like last year's "Battle of Gods."

"Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" is the nineteenth feature film installment based on the best-selling "Dragon Ball" franchise. It will reportedly come out in both the 2D and 3D formats in Japanese theaters on April 18. Its worldwide release, however, is still unannounced by Toei Company and 20th Century Fox.

The film is directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro, and was personally written and supervised by series creator Akira Toriyama.
