More "Dragon Quest" titles could reportedly become available in both Europe and North America.

To be more specific, series creator Yuji Horii said the two titles most likely to make the long journey west were "Dragon Quest VII" and "Dragon Quest VIII."

Horii broke the news at Japan Expo 2015 and added that both titles were already primed to be released in French, with English adaptations expected to follow soon, according to IGN.

Both games have been available in Japan for more than a decade, with "Dragon Quest VII" being released back in 2001 and "Dragon Quest VIII" launching in 2004.

"Dragon Quest VIII" has already been released in North America before, with the game coming stateside back in 2005. The game has also been translated to different ports, with a version of it being released for both Android and iOS devices in Japan in December 2013 and its worldwide release in May 2014. The game has also been ported for the Nintendo 3DS and is currently scheduled to be released in Japan this August.

More "Dragon Quest" titles could still be scheduled for localization and a subsequent launch in Western countries, according to Square Enix, but fans will need to show that doing so will be worth it on the part of the company.

In an interview with Polygon, "Dragon Quest" Executive Producer Yuu Miyake said the best way to ensure that more titles from the franchise would head west would be to show that they would be supported. Miyake said fans could show their support by purchasing the new "Dragon Quest Heroes" currently out in North America, according to Polygon.

Miyake said Square Enix has been hesitant to localize several titles because of the cost of doing so, but support for the franchise's newest game could prompt the company to rethink its stance.
