However, Bieber is slated to attend the 59th Grammy Awards, and will be nominated for lending his talent to the viral song "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, according to The Star.

According to Metro, it can be safely assumed that Drake would definitely have been a contender for the Album of the Year category if he had submitted his album — especially since it landed on the number one spot in the U.S. and U.K. charts. In the past, the rapper has been nominated 33 times, which is no small feat in itself. However, this time around, the "Hotline Bling" singer is actually walking the talk by not participating.
