"Driveclub" will be challenging players with a new hardcore mode this February.

The new game mode was first revealed by director Paul Rustchynsky via Twitter.

In his tweet, Rustchynsky shared a short video that gave fans a better idea of what the new mode would be like.

In the video, players can see that the new hardcore mode would be disabling stability and traction control for the game in order to make it more challenging.

A variety of other features that assist players in "Driveclub" will, apparently, also be turned off in hardcore mode.

Beyond adding a new and more challenging mode to "Driveclub," the upcoming February update for the game is also expected to introduce a variety of other goodies.

According to Evolution Studios Community Manager Jamie Brayshaw, the upcoming February update will also be adding new photo mode filters for players to tinker with, Game Zone reported.

The February update will also introduce new stars and trophies to "Driveclub" upon its arrival.

The upcoming update could also be adding new cars to "Driveclub," although the game's developers have yet to confirm this.

Fans also have some questions regarding the February "Driveclub" update.

Specifically, fans are wondering whether or not the new content set to be added to the game will be introduced via a free update or if all of the items will be part of a paid expansion pack, Cinema Blend reported.

The game's developers have yet to address this particular query, although an answer to it should be given soon.

It's also worth noting that since the season pass for "Driveclub" has already expired, this would mean that players will have to fork over money should the February update end up being a paid expansion.

Some fans have also wondered if the game's developers may be planning to release a new season pass, and thus far, no answer has been provided for this question.

More news about "Driveclub" should be released soon.
