'Duck Dynasty' star John Luke Robertson marries Mary Kate McEachern

"Duck Dynasty's" John Luke Robertson married his fiancée, Mary Kate McEachern, on Saturday, June 27. The couple tied the knot at the Robertson's family farm in West Monroe and more than 800 family members and friends attended the special day, according to Us Weekly.

John Luke and Mary Kate, both 19, told Us Weekly that they had an amazing time.

"It was one of the best days of my life!" Mary Kate said. "It was everything I hoped it would be and more."

Guests reportedly dined on a hearty fare which included grilled chicken skewers, barbecue shrimp, brisket sliders, tacos and hamburgers, according to wedding planner Erin Vowell. For dessert, there was a six tier white cake which was decorated with flowers, and cronuts in lieu of a typical groom's cake.

John Luke's father, Willie Robertson, officiated the ceremony and added a surprise as the "Duck Dynasty" star invited a mariachi band to perform before the ceremony. An acoustic version of The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun" was played by the local band, and other songs included "Amazing Grace," "Sweet Caroline," and "Stand by Me."

Wedding planner Bethany Sigrest described the décor to Us, saying, "[Mary Kate] wanted it real fun, real casual, and she wanted flowers to be a big central point of it all."

John Luke popped the question in October last year during his 19th birthday as he took to social media to announce their engagement. He posted a picture on his Instagram account at the time, showing him holding up a sign that read, "Future Mrs. Robertson" with an arrow pointing to Mary Kate as she held aloft a sparkler. They met in 2010 at a Christian summer camp and began dating in March 2013.

At the time during their engagement, John Luke told Us Weekly that he was so excited to marry his best friend and that his parents, Willie and Korie Robertson, married young as well and that "they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me."

The newlyweds will reportedly be going to Liberty University in fall.
