A new preview for the upcoming ninth season of the family reality TV show "Duck Dynasty" has been released, and it looks like Jase Robertson will be facing a serious challenge- cheerleading duties.

In a video preview posted on the official Facebook page of "Duck Dynasty," the clip shows Jase, the second son of Phil and Miss Kay Robertson, discussing with his youngest child and only daughter Mia that he will be helping her get ready for cheerleading. It won't be as easy as Jase thinks as he finds out that cheerleaders today no longer use pom-poms and that he's going to have to learn how to braid her hair.

The cheerleading event that Jase is helping Mia getting ready for in the video will be her last and final event before she gets surgery on her cleft lip, so the whole family will be out to support her in her performance.

Video Preview of Ninth Season of Duck Dynasty

"Duck Dynasty" is an American reality TV show that follows the life of Christian family, the Robertsons, who own and operate Duck Commanders. The business manufactures and distributes duck calls and decoys, which are used mostly when duck hunting, and are made of salvaged swamp wood. Duck Commanders started as a humble family business back in 1973, but has today grown into a multi-million sports brand for duck hunters everywhere.

The ninth season will bring forth new challenges that go beyond hair braids and cheerleading practices. The family will be trying out other ventures in the new season, titled "Inlawful Entry." According to TV Series Finale, Willie and Alan will be helping Miss Kay start a bakery. John Luke, on the other hand, will be trying out a business venture in the Snow Cone industry, and will also be helped out by Willie.

The new season is set to premiere on Jan. 13, 2016 at 9 p.m. This season will also see the 100th episode of "Duck Dynasty," which will air on Feb. 17.
