Big things are coming for the Robertsons of A&E's "Duck Dynasty" in 2016.

In her Instagram account, Willie and Korie Robertson's former foster child-turned-adopted daughter Rebecca Lo announced that she said yes to her boyfriend John Reed Loflin when he proposed in Miami shortly after the new year began.

After long time of patiently searching, I found the ultimate gem // Jeremiah 29:11

Rebecca Lo revealed the good news by posting a page on her journal where an illustration that depicts the proposal story can be seen. Based on the drawing, she and John Reed went looking for shells around the beach. Then he picked one of the shells and told her that something seemed to be hiding inside.

She initially thought that it was a slug, but John Reed went down on his knees and showed her the ring. Then the eldest child from Willie and Korie's household said yes when her boyfriend asked her hand in marriage.

But aside from Rebecca Lo, her cousin Reed Robertson also got engaged before the end of 2015 when he proposed to his girlfriend Brighton Thompson. Reed is the eldest son of Jase and Missy Robertson.

Meanwhile, Rebecca's mom Korie made an announcement of her own on her Instagram account days after her daughter dropped the news about her engagement.

Willie's wife posted a photo of all her five children Sunday afternoon, with the caption:

"We've had lots of questions about the cute kid popping up in our photos lately. We are excited to be in the process of adopting a new son!"

Korie shared that the 13-year-old boy has been with the family since May 2015, but they opted to keep the information from the public during that time to give the family some privacy and allow him to bond with them first before making the announcement. However, she chose not to mention the boy's name

This is not the first time that Willie and Korie welcomed an adopted child to their family. Rebecca became a part of them when she came to the U.S. as an exchange student from Taiwan in 2004, while Will Jr. was adopted when he was still a baby.

Perhaps the new addition to the family will be formally introduced when "Duck Dynasty" returns for season 9 on Wednesday, Jan. 13, on A&E.
