Duggar family update: Josiah's ex to return with tell-all agenda? Jinger and Lawson of 'Bringing Up Bates' courting?
The Duggar family can't seem to avoid the limelight ever since scandals involving one of their own — Josh — broke out. Now, it seems that the Duggars are going to face another challenge.
In April, the eighth Duggar child, Josiah, made his courtship with 17-year-old Marjorie Jackson public. The 19-year-old Duggar son and Jackson, who met while attending Spanish classes, had known each other for quite some time.
The Duggar teen was impressed by Jackson's "love for the Lord" and felt that she was the one. The two went on with the courtship for four months.
However, only a few weeks later after Josh's scandal broke out, the teen couple announced they had ended their relationship.
Jackson, who runs her own Christian teen blog, disappeared from the public eye ever since. However, she recently resurfaced, announcing her return on her blog.
She also noted that she will explain why she had to step away from the limelight, Hollywood Gossip reported.
Speculations suggest that many things may have happened while Jackson was away and that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are afraid of what the teen might reveal.
Since news about Josiah and Jackson's split, not much news has been reported concerning the two — until now.
In related news, rumor has it that Jinger Duggar and "Bringing Up Bates" star Lawson Bates are entering a courtship.
This rumor started early this month when the Duggar clan released a family photo during Amy Duggar's wedding. In the photo, 23-year-old Bates and 21-year-old Jinger were standing near to each other, which raised suspicion among fans, Starcasm reported.
Bates and Jinger's courting may be just part of fans' wishful thinking since a lot of them are rooting for Duggar–Bates tandem.
If the courtship proves to be true, it would be good news for the Duggar clan who have been dealing with a number of scandals in the past several months.
