It's a huge deal for the Duggar family of 19 Kids of Counting for couples to enter into a courtship phase, so naturally, when Josiah Duggar announced that he is officially courting Marjorie Jackson, the whole family was thrilled.

His elder sisters Jill and Jessa congratulated him on their social media accounts. Despite just giving birth to her and Derick Dillard's first born son Israel David, Jill took the time to repost a picture of Josiah and Marjorie, who is seen holding up a bouquet of flowers on her Instagram account (@jillmdillard).

"So excited for my brother @siduggar and Marjorie Jackson on their courtship!" she wrote.

Jessa also shared the same photo on her Instagram account (@jessaseewald) and captioned it, "Another Duggar is courting! Congrats to my bro Si and his girlfriend Marjorie!"

Their husbands also extended their congratulations to Josiah. Derick wrote on his Instagram account (@derickdillard), "Congrats to this good lookin' couple on their recent courtship! Baby Israel was so happy he decided to come on the same day lol."

Jessa's husband Ben Seewald did the same thing on his Instagram account (@ben_seewald). He wrote, "Guess what? Josiah is courting!"

At only 17 years old, Marjorie is quite the impressive young lady. She is into music and acting, and has even written a book that encourages other girls to read the Bible. She is also bilingual, since she can converse fluently in both English and Spanish.

Marjorie's family has known the Duggars for quite some time, and the two lovebirds first met when Josiah was taking Spanish lessons in her home. Things only escalated last December when the two and their families went to El Salvador for a mission trip.

"I really appreciate the Duggar family," Marjorie told PEOPLE. "I respect and admire them. I will just take this one step at a time."
