Duggar girls say they want to marry a man like dad Jim Bob — 'a strong leader who loves God'

Out of all the Duggar girls from "19 Kids and Counting," only Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald have so far found bliss in marriage. Their elder sister Jana, 26, as well as their younger siblings Jinger, 22, and Joy-Anna, 18, are still happily single.

Even though the Duggar girls are in no rush to find a man of their own, they already know what kind of man they want. The girls told PEOPLE that they want to marry someone like their father Jim Bob.

"I think we would want someone like our dad [Jim Bob] – someone who is a strong leader and who loves God and loves others more than himself," said Joy-Anna.

"We aren't anxious about getting married. But when you meet a boy, you examine their character," added Jinger.

On the other hand, Jana said even after finding out that their eldest brother Josh cheated on his wife Anna last year, they "still want the same things moving forward."

"You're not going to marry a 'perfect' person; we aren't perfect ourselves!" she said.

For now, the Duggar kids are more focused on the family businesses of remodelling homes as well as buying and restoring used cars.

Jinger has gotten involved in the used car business, although she was sceptical about it initially. After attending auctions with her brothers, her interest was caught. "My brothers are my advisers," she said. "I started watching them, and all my little brothers were making a lot of money. I decided to get in on that."

Jana's twin brother John David, on the other hand, is "really trying to focus in on the family business with real estate" while he serves as a part-time police officer and volunteers with the Texas-based International Alert Academy together with younger brother Joseph, 21.
