"Dancing With the Stars" is slowly revealing its star cast for 2015, and the excitement for the show is now really building up to a crescendo. The hit ABC series is bound to wow yet again this season as casting rumors are becoming more speculative as ever.

Australian celebrity Bindi Irwin confirmed her participation in the dance show Monday on "Good Morning America." Irwin, the daughter of the late wildlife expert Steve Irwin aka The Crocodile Hunter, is the first star to formally announce her entry to "DWTS" season 21. This development electrified the fans in their frantic search for who could also possibly be joining in.

E! News reported that Irwin might be facing it off on the dance floor against "Backstreet Boys" member Nick Carter and "Spy Kids" star Alexa Pena Vega. Although contracts are not yet signed, both are said to be currently in talks with the producers.

When asked what it takes for a star to make it to the "DWTS" star roster, executive producer Rob Wade revealed in an interview with Glamour magazine that celebrities must be "current in the news." Vega clearly fit into that requirement with her appearance in shows like "The Mentalist" and "Nashville."

Another big name that got churned up in the "DWTS" casting rumor mill is Jodie Sweetin. But E! News revealed that the "Full House" star turned down the offer because of some serious scheduling difficulties.

Stars who already confirmed that they will not appear on the show include Demi Moore. E! News found out that Moore is joining Ricky Schroder and Caitlyn Jenner as some of the celebrities who already declined "DWTS." But fans are in for more surprises in the coming days as "DWTS" is bound to reveal more stars to cast in this highly anticipated dance show.
