In a time of distress, the Carringtons will band together and protect each other. The Carrington family will have to depend on one another as they try to stop themselves from going at each other's throats when the whole family is placed under the suspicion of murder in the next episode of "Dynasty."

According to the synopsis for the second episode called "Spit It Out," Cristal, played by Nathalie Kelley, and Fallon, played by Elizabeth Gillies, must put a friendly front to make sure their family name won't get tarnished.

The next episode also promises to reveal the nature of the death of a person connected to the Carrington family and that it may not have been due to natural causes. This will put the blame on the Carringtons. While the family closes ranks to keep their family name clean, drama will reach its zenith point at the funeral

Aside from the synopsis, the teaser trailer for episode 2 has also come out. In it, Blake, played by Grant Show, throws his drinking glass at the fireplace. Fallon chides Blake that he did not hit the target, but Blake's facial expression shows that he's in no mood for jokes.

The promo clip also shows a brief shot of the Carrington Manor being surrounded by authorities and journalists, most likely due to their potential involvement in the death of Matthew (Nick Wechsler) in episode 1.

Th scene is followed by a Carrington family meeting in which Blake orders the rest of the family to protect their name, with Cristal pointing out that Blake probably meant their family business.

It can be remembered that in the premiere episode, Matthew, Cristal's married lover, died at one of the job sites owned by Carrington Atlantic.

The reboot of "Dynasty" clearly still has the same DNA of the original iconic 1980s series. This time around, they are going to lessen the physical catfights.

Speaking with E! News, Gillies said, "We still have fights, but I think we're freer to be more creative with this rivalry now because Cristal and Fallon are modern, working women."

The actress also revealed that some of the fights will happen in the board room in a power struggle instead of slapping and pulling each other's hair out.

The second episode of "Dynasty" will air on Wednesday at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
