EA Access Vault games: New games to be added starting July 12

Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts has confirmed that at least three new games will be added to The Vault before summer is over, and at least four new upcoming games to the Play First Trials program, so EA Access members will have something to look forward to in the coming months.

In an announcement posted on the website, publisher Electronic Arts has revealed that three new games will be added to the Vault in the summer, joining the more than 20 games already included in the program. Starting July 12, members will get unlimited access to "Need for Speed" and "Unravel," a physics-based puzzle platformer. There will also be a new game next month, as the EA Access Vault will add "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2," the first-person shooter in the popular series.

With the three new games added soon, the number of titles already in the Vault will be listed at 24, which includes some of big-name franchises like "Battlefield: Hardline," "Dragon Age: Inquisition," Titanfall" and "Deadspace."

Meanwhile, aside from announcing upcoming games for the Vault, Electronic Arts also confirmed additional titles for the Play First Trial program. On Aug. 18, players can get a sneak peek at the upcoming "Madden NFL 17," the newest in the long-running popular sports franchise. It will be followed on Sept. 8 by "EA Sports NHL 17" and "EA Sports FIFA 17" on Sept. 22.

The confirmed games are the newest additions to the Play First Trial feature for the Xbox One. The biggest sneak peek has already been confirmed by EA – members get early trial access to "Battlefield 1" on Oct. 13, more than a week before its official Oct. 21 launch.

EA Access membership for the Xbox One costs $5 per month, or a discounted $30 per year. There is also a separate Access program available for PC players via Origin.
