Ed Sheeran allegedly told fellow singer and BFF Taylor Swift that she should date British actor Orlando Bloom amid dating rumors involving another BFF Selena Gomez.

In his recent interview with Us Weekly, Sheeran discussed who Taylor Swift should date next. "Orlando Bloom," Sheeran said. Ed may have the luck in match making as he introduced Courteney Cox to Johnny McDaid. Next thing we knew is that the couple was already heading to the aisle.

Taylor, on the other hand, seemed to have no luck in the romance department after her relationships went down the drain. However, as a result of her break ups, the country singer has obtained a myriad of materials for her songs.

Despite the number of men in Taylor's past, the "All too Well" hit maker is quite picky when it comes to finding a suitable partner. "She's made a really detailed list of what she wants. She's all about finding a new boyfriend but she doesn't want just any guy, she wants the perfect guy. She's made a really detailed list of what she wants and it's so intense, there aren't many guys out there that can live up to it," an unnamed source told Perez Hilton.

"She wants someone on her level when it comes to their career, plus, they have to be hot — like leading man hot. And she would love a guy that can speak at least two languages," the source added.

It has long been known that Taylor Swift draws inspiration for her new songs based on her past relatoinships. Her songs have been inspired by Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, and John Meyer. Donnie Darko star Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly the inspiration of the most recent album of Taylor Swift entitled "Red".
