It has been four years since the fifth installment of the famous open world questing franchise "The Elder Scrolls," and fans are eagerly waiting for the next one. The waiting reached fever pitch when it was reported that Bethesda will be unveiling an RPG title at this year's Electronics Entertainment Expo. However, the game company did not elaborate on any other details, and haven't confirmed that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be detailed at the 2015 E3.

Since there are no confirmed details on the sixth title in the series, there is healthy speculation going around, mostly fuelled by fans wanting to put in their two cents' worth on what to expect from the game.

Since "The Elder Scrolls" franchise has been known as an open world questing title set in a vast and richly detailed location, observers are focusing on what locale "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be set in. Although there are different opinions on where the next game will be, all fans agree that it will still be in Tamriel.

The world of Tamriel has nine provinces, two of which were explored heavily in the previous five games. Skyrim and Cyrodill have been exhaustedly discovered, with some points touching lightly on other areas such as Morrowind, High Rock, and Hammerfell.

To unveil more of the "Elder Scrolls" world, fans want the next installment to be set in any of the previously unexplored places, especially the Black Marsh, Elswyr, Valenwood, and Summerset Isles.

Of note to most of hardcore "Skyrim" gamers is Summerset Isle. Home to the Altmers, the area can be explored in the next "Elder Scrolls" title to serve as a prequel or backstory to "The Elder Scrolls 5". In "Skyim," the Altmers served as adversaries to the Dragonborn.

As for the release date, no specific details have been revealed, and fans speculate on a late 2015 or early 2016 launch.
