Playing "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" is already exciting for fans of the game, but it would be much sweeter if one will get the chance to win $1 million just by playing.

That's just what Bethesda has been offering to players of "Elder Scrolls Online." The developer announced at the 2015 Game Awards last Dec. 3 that a lucky gamer can win that whopping amount just by enjoying the time with "Elder Scrolls Online."

According to the news release, this draw is included in Bethesda's campaign "Million Reasons to Play," in which game developers reach out to "Elder Scrolls Online" community asking players to share via social media their most favorite part of the game.

As a way to show appreciation for the continued support given by fans, Bethesda is giving something exciting in return.

"It's so inspiring to see fans share — with us and the community — their favorite reasons for playing. We're excited to now share something with one of them!" game director Matt Firor, said in a statement.

To qualify for the sweepstakes, a player simply needs to log on to the Million Reasons website and fill out a form by Jan. 10, 2016. After accomplishing the form, players will need to play "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" starting Dec. 3, 2015 until Jan.10, 2016 to get a chance to become the lucky winner.

For those who may be not-so-lucky enough to win $1 million, there still have a chance at nabbing the consolation prize. Bethesda will also give 1,000 players 3,000,000 in-game currency of Crowns each.

The $1 million prize does come with a catch — it will not be paid in full, but in installments of $50,000 for 20 years. Nevertheless, it's still a sweet deal from Bethesda.

The winner for the $1 million and Crowns prizes will be announced on Feb. 1, 2016. More details on the sweepstakes can be found here.

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" with its expansion "The Imperial City" and "Orsinium" is available in PlayStation, Xbox One and personal computer (PC).
