Fans and players of the video game "The Elder Scrolls Online" have something new to look forward to. Update 16 is coming later this year and it will allow Xbox One X users to play the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).

The announcement was made by the official "Elder Scrolls Online" Twitter account. Though the mid-generation Xbox One update has not been launched yet, players planning to purchase the video game console will be happy to know that the Xbox One X will be able to support "The Elder Scrolls Online's" impressive aesthetic and features in 4K resolution.

The upcoming update does not only contain support for the Xbox One X. It also has several features that target all players across different gaming consoles. The patch notes for Update 16 published on the Public Test Server shows the other essential changes to "The Elder Scrolls Online" that players can obtain via the free download.

Update 16 will be available for players who have availed of "Morrowind" and the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) package, "Clockwork City."

The latter will include a new Battleground mode. Titled Crazy King, the new game mode is similar to Domination, but several notches higher in terms of difficulty.

At the start of the Crazy King round, players should be able to spot a capture point in the map's center. Another one will appear after the first one and the original capture point will be transferred after some time. These capture points will continue to be mobile as the round goes on and the players must make the necessary adjustments.

Video game developer ZeniMax Online Studios is also planning to introduce Transmutation with the update, which will provide the players with a new way to mold the game to their preferences.
