Eminem's new album release for 2017 may debut this August

The real Slim Shady has been laying low in the music scene in the past three years. The rap legend has yet to share a new album soon, and fans have been clamoring for one. When is Eminem planning to reveal his new tracks?

Not much has been said about Eminem's current project, but let it be known that he is working on an album. He shared the news last year, admitting he is working on a record. He took to Twitter to share the news. He wrote, "Don't worry I'm working on an album! Here's something meanwhile." He then shared a link to "Campaign Speech."

The rap legend has yet to share the details of his album's release. But according to reports, the rapper intends to launch the album this year, specifically this August. Hence, fans should treat the reports as speculation until proven otherwise.

While fans are clamoring for a new record, rapper Joe Budden recently threw some shade at Eminem. When Budden and DJ Akademiks were trying to figure out the best rapper contender with the worst album, the former implied that it is Eminem. Budden might have been playing it coy, but when his co-host called him out for defending Eminem, he said, "That's a fast growing myth. How many bad albums does Eminem have? Two? Two!" Budden did not say which two albums he thinks are bad.

If Eminem does plan on launching an album this August, it remains unclear. Fans, however, can do something else in the meantime such as catching him perform live at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow for a performance this Aug. 24.

Eminem turns to social media to announce his latest projects. Fans should opt to follow his social media pages for information. More updates should arrive soon.
