Rapper Eminem is expected to put out a new album this year, but rumors say that the new tracks by the rap god won't come out until next year.

According to new reports, the "Lose Yourself" rapper has a lot of things to do, giving him no time to work on the project. Despite this, it is believed that half of the tracks on the new album are all set.

Previous reports say that the 43-year-old rapper from Detroit has been working on new songs for his album. Eminem reportedly took significant precautions to avoid his supposed 2016 new album from being leaked.

In the past years, Eminem became a victim of early leaks. Before he managed to officially release a new album, they always end up hitting the web days or weeks early.

Eminem's "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" released in 2013 and the compilation album "Shady XV" launched in 2014 were leaked days before they were officially made available.

Eminem is reportedly working hard not to experience another album leak. By having the studio more guarded than before, it is believed that a premature release would be prevented.

Until now, Eminem has not given any hints about the rumored new album. He has only been making appearances in concert events like Lollapalooza and making soundtracks for films -- the latest was for Jake Gyllenhaal's "Southpaw."

Eminem has also been promoting the new album of rapper Royce Da 5'9, who recently opened up about how Eminem helped him get back on track in life. In one tweet, Eminem said he is "very proud" of the artist for his new album "Layers."

Eminem is said to be one busy bee at the moment, the "Stan" hitmaker hasn't been updating his social media accounts except for the announcement of a new "Mom's Spaghetti" t-shirt design for his merchandise.

Eminem has noticeably given much of his focus in promoting his merchandise.
