Eminem new album release date: rumored new album release a hoax
Eminem fans who were delighted to hear news about his reported new album will probably have their hearts broken as the reports are said to be false.
According to rumors, Eminem is currently working on a new album in secret. MediaMass received information from a source claiming that "The Real Slim Shady" rapper is finally working on his next studio album.
The reported source claimed that the 43-year-old rapper-songwriter has already recorded approximately eight songs for his still-untitled album. "It's still in the early stage. He's got security on the doors to ensure no one hears a whisper," the source revealed.
But the same publication posted an update in their report, saying that the story turned out to be false.
Fans are clamoring for Eminem's next studio record since his last album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" came out in November 2013. However, he released two compilation albums after that. The first one was the two-disc album called "Shady XV" that came out in 2014, featuring his greatest hits and a single titled "Guts over Fear" featuring Sia and "Detroit vs. Everybody," where he collaborated with Royce da 5'9", Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf and Trick-Trick. Then he released the original soundtrack for "Southpaw" in 2015, which included the song "Kings Never Die" featuring Gwen Stefani.
But while waiting for official news from Eminem's camp regarding his next album, fans can catch him on tour with other big-name hip hop artists like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar in the near future.
Details about the tour have yet to be revealed, but Snoop Dog revealed in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid's radio show "The Whoolywood Shuffle" that their camps are already conceptualizing the event.
"We're trying to get it together. Dre said he want it to be myself, him, Kendrick, Eminem. It's a wishlist that can possibly become a reality, if all parties agree," he said. "I'd love to make it happen. I love everybody involved and I ain't trying to get all the money. I just want what I'm worth and I'm gonna do what I do."
