The Lyon family is once again in trouble. But this time, it will be because of Lucious's (Terrence Howard) deepest, darkest secrets.

In the extended trailer for Empire season 2 episode 15, titled "More Than Kin," Anika (Grace Gealey) tells Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) that his father, Lucious, threatened to end her life as soon as she gives birth to their baby.

This could definitely hurt the youngest Lyon. According to Jussie Smollett, Anika's pregnancy changed Hakeem's perspectives in life. The actor, who portrays the role of second Lyon son Jamal, said that Hakeem will do everything to make things right for his baby.

Gealey said that she believes Hakeem has the right to know about his father plans if he really wants to be part of their baby's life since Lucious appears to be very serious about his threats.

However, the trailer also reveals that something bad will happen during Anika's pregnancy, and Hakeem's mother Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) is fortunately there to help her.

According to Gealey, Anika and Cookie will share a very touching moment during the episode.

"It's just a beautiful moment between them," the actress said. "As I was reading the script, I cried. It was really really beautiful."

Meanwhile, Hakeem will face some troubles of his own as he comes clean about getting Anika pregnant to his fiancée Laura (Jamila Velazquez). This will not sit well with Laura, as she hits him hard in the face after his revelation. Does it mean that their engagement is really over?

Meanwhile, the fundraising event that Lucious and Andre (Trai Byers) host for the Bipolar Alliance to prove that Lucious should be allowed to regain his role as Empire Entertainment's CEO will end in disaster because of Lucious himself.

Based on the trailer, Lucious will throw shade at Jamal during the press con for the event. Andre, on the other hand, will get several photos from Harper (Annie Ilonzeh) that could reportedly change the relationships within the Lyon family.
