The International Baptist Theological Seminary of the European Baptist Federation, based in the European Baptist centre in Prague, Czech Republic, has launched a new web site to celebrate its 59th Academic year.

The organisation has opted to take advantage of the Europe domain name '.eu' rather than a national or country domain.

The new site has been completely redesigned using the latest software by Mgr Dana Heranova, a prize-winning Czech web site designer.

The website incorporates Moodle software to assist students by providing virtual classroom experiences, especially valuable for part-time students who are located all across the world.

The site also has opportunity for featuring up to date news about the seminary in an accessible way and more complete information about the academic programmes on offer, the seminary said.

A project team drawn from the Academic Team, Administration Team, the Information Technology Officer, Ing Ivan Heran, and others, has worked with Mgr Heranova for the past five months to bring this project to fruition.

In style, the web site now looks to belong to the family of European Baptist Federation bodies, relating logically to www.ebf.org and www.cebts.eu.
