Japanese animated television series "Fairy Tail" already finished its run last year. However, creator Hiro Mashima is still sharing sketches of the anime's characters, which delights fans of the series.

Recently, Mashima shared a new art on Twitter featuring Natsu and Gray. Usually, the illustrator would share scantily clad works of female characters. But this time, the artwork of Natsu and Gray shows a different mood. The two are having fun with pillow fight, which deviates from their usual looks.

Aside from that, he also posted a picture of Erza during the New Year. It shows Erza wearing one of her armor attires while writing a new year greeting using caligraphy. For the holidays, he created a beautiful sketch of Lucy for Christmas, a curvaceous drawing of Juvia wearing a revealing Santa suit, and a naughty picture of Wendy and Plue. Last Halloween, Mashima also shared a drawing of both Erza and Lucy wearing risque outfits. Erza was wearing a golden Playboy bunny suit, while Lucy donned a tight-fitting cat costume.

As the year ended, Mashima also uploaded a sketch of "Fairy Tail" characters with a caption expressing his gratitude. He said that the manga, which was serialized over 11 years ago, ended in 2017. He is thankful for all the messages from a lot people. He also said that he will try a new series in 2018. No doubt, fans are already anticipating Mashima's next creation.

"Fairy Tail" was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine on Aug. 2, 2006. It was adapted into an anime series that aired in Japan on Oct. 12, 2009. It follows the adventures of teenage wizard Natsu Dragneel, a member of popular wizard's guild Fairy Tail, who is searching for the dragon Igneel.

The anime version ended its initial run on March 30, 2013. On the other hand, season 2 premiered on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2014, and ended on March 26, 2016. Now that the manga has ended, fans are anticipating the third and final season of the anime series, which is scheduled to air in 2018.
