Faitworks Launches Awards Search for Christian Church Projects

Faithworks is ready to award a £5,000 grant and consulting support to three projects based on the Christian faith. There are two awards in Community Innovation Awards and one award in Community Resource Award.

The aim of the Faithworks Awards is to help to propagate projects ran by UK churches that are making a significant difference in the local community.

Three successful projects will each receive a £5,000 grant and free consulting from Faithworks for one year.

Panels that will consider the project will consist of the Faitworks representatives and two awards sponsors.

The Award in Community Resources is supported by the Christian Resources Exhibition, and projects that will apply for this category need to prove their outstanding works over the past three years.

On the other hand, in the Community Innovation Category sponsored by Spring Harvest, two awards will be given to relatively new church-based projects. Projects must be focused on innovative work in the community.

Any project in the UK based on Christian faith that fits the criteria set out for the awards, may apply before 29th July 2005. Award winners will be announced during the Faithworks Conference in November.
