'Fallout 4' release date, latest news: Game boasts 400 hours of content

It took years before "Fallout 4" was announced but it won't be a fleeting experience to play the game once it comes out in November. In an interview with OXM, the game's lead producer Jeff Gardiner said that it will take time for gamers to rake through everything.

"I've played the game for probably 400 hours, and I'm still finding stuff that I haven't seen," Gardiner said, as quoted by Gamespresso.

This sprawling wonder and exploration is made possible with the game's extensive crafting system. As detailed by the abovementioned publication, "Fallout 4" has given its developers a chance to expand the already massive environment of the game and make it more customizable. Gamers can now modify special sectors of the Wasteland along with weapons and body armor.

Meanwhile, just recently, the "Pip Boy Edition" of the post-apocalyptic title has sold out. The pack includes an actual Pip-Boy replica as well as other goodies such as a RobCo Industries stand, custom print capsule, adjustable foam bracelet and revolving knobs and lights for 100 euro. The pre-order nugget was only available in the U.K.'s GAME and according to the retailer's U.K. Retail MD Charlotte Knight, they witnessed "truly unprecedented levels of interest" for the title, which is notably one of the most leaked and most talked about games before it was even made official.

"The bundle, which was available only at GAME, was our fastest selling pre order to date and sold out twice – in a record two minutes the second time around," Knight told Express, with the Retail MD calling the "Fallout 4" goodie "another way to make the gaming experience more immersive and engaging."

"Fallout 4" will be released on Nov. 10 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Knight promised that there will be exciting promos and offers to watch out for in September from GAME.
