Many of the companies in the gaming industry have always been present at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo event. This year, Bethesda will join the E3 event for the first time, scheduled to take place on June 14 in California. This move by the Maryland-based game publisher has prompted the gaming community to speculate if details about its upcoming games will be revealed, and gamers are especially focused on information about the next "Fallout" title.

"Fallout" is a series of role-playing games set in a post-apocalyptic world. The original one, released in 1997 and takes place in southern California, is reminiscent of post-WW2 America. "Fallout" then continued and a games series established, ending in "Fallout 3" that was published in 2008. On its release, the second part of the series garnered positive reviews and accolades, and fans waited eagerly for the continuing title.

It has been seven years since then, but "Fallout 4" still far out in the horizon. However, since Bethesda's announcement that it will join this year's E3, the gaming community has come alive with "Fallout 4" rumors and purported details. Leaked documents from Kotaku.com reads that the next "Fallout" title will be set in Boston. An industry insider, shinobi602, tweeted the very real possibility of a "Fallout 4" announcement at the upcoming E3.

Meanwhile, an anonymous email to Game Center Online hinted at "Fallout 4," although it will reportedly not be on PS3 and Xbox 360.

"Bethesda [is] aiming for an impressive scale and atmosphere with Fallout 4," the email reads. "They're only developing it on current gen and PC."
