Although fans will have to until the end of the month for the next expansion, it is revealed that hardcore players can get a first look at the upcoming "Vault-Tec Workshop" DLC of "Fallout 4."

Developer Bethesda has announced that hardcore fans will have a chance to get a sneak peek at the upcoming add-on on Tuesday, July 12 via the game's Twitch channel.

Although the developer has yet to announce details on the expansion, it looks like the players will have the chance to play as some sort of Overseer within a new Vault, much like in another franchise game, "Fallout Shelter."

The description for the "Vault-Tec Workshop" DLC reads, "Build a brighter future underground with the all-new Vault-Tec Workshop. Create a Vault using pre-war industrial kits complete with retro-nostalgic furniture, lighting, and art designed to increase the productivity of your Dwellers. And like every good Overseer, run Vault-Tec approved experiments and turn your Dwellers into test subjects! Vault-Tec has given you the tools, the rest is up to you!"

Meanwhile, with a price tag of $5, it is expected that "Vault-Tec Workshop" is just an in-between expansion, with the major update being the upcoming "Nuka-World" DLC. Since the next expansion is scheduled for later this month, there are rumors saying that "Nuka-World" will be released by Aug. 30.

While Bethesda has yet to confirm this, having "Nuka-World" as a major expansion update is already expected, since the developer has announced that the upcoming DLC is the "last planned DLC" for "Fallout 4," particularly for Season Pass holders.

Both "Nuka-World" and the upcoming "Vault-Tec Workshop" DLC packs will be released for all platforms of "Fallout 4." However, with at least a month of waiting, some hardcore players are wondering if Bethesda will be following up with a PS4 update during the hiatus. One feature that is absent from the Sony console is the mods feature of the game, which is already live for the PC and the Xbox One versions of "Fallout 4."
