Developer Bethesda has finally found a way to fix the faulty Far Harbor DLC on the PlayStation 4 version of "Fallout 4," so the mods might finally be released soon.

According to Eurogamer, the game studio has finally restored the frame rate back to 30 frames per second (fps). Gamers will simply have to download the updated version of the Far Harbor DLC to get the fix.

When Bethesda announced the release of the "Fallout 4" mods to the Xbox One, it teased that the "wait is almost over" for the PS4 folks, with a release expected to take place this month.

Ever since, Bethesda hasn't said a word about a specific release date, which had some PS4-playing fans of "Fallout 4" a bit worried, seeing that Far Harbor DLC also encountered issues.

But now that the Far Harbor DLC mayhem has finally been sorted out, PS4 players now set their eyes on the "Fallout 4" mods coming to the game.

According to reports, the Creation Tool Kit for mods will be released at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 next week. That will be two weeks after the Xbox One version was released.

As PS4 players of "Fallout 4" await the mods update, Xbox One gamers are already creating unprecedented number of mods, some of which piquing the interest of the web.

Mods have become innate part of the Bethesda franchises especially "Elder Scrolls." Releasing the mods tool to the Xbox One and PS4 is something the company "wanted to do for a very long time."

The "Fallout 4" mods, much like the Xbox One version, will bring new weapons, characters and quests as well as outfits, dialogue and all other goodies.

Bethesda believes that the mods will enrich the gaming experience in "Fallout 4" and will encourage fans to be more involved. While waiting for the "Fallout 4" mods for PS4, players can check out some creations gaining popularity here and here.
