Bethesda may be getting set to finally reveal more information about "Fallout 4's" DLC.

Recently, the game's developers took to Twitter to say that more information about "Fallout 4's" DLC is "not far off."

Official news about "Fallout 4's" DLC has been hard to come by up to this point, although it appears that Bethesda is finally on the verge of revealing something substantial.

According to N4BB, there's a chance that Bethesda may opt to release the initial wave of DLC sometime in March, and the recent announcement on Twitter would seem to hint at that possibility as well.

In the absence of actual news, fans have been left to speculate about what the game's actual DLC might be.

Some fans have suggested that underwater content will be included in "Fallout 4's" upcoming DLC. As evidence of this, fans have pointed to the existence of underwater structures being present inside the game, and they suggest that these may come into play later on as potentially functional elements of a new mission.

Rumors surrounding "Fallout 4" also suggest that Bethesda may be looking to add new maps and non-player characters (NPCs) to the game via upcoming DLC packs.

The good news is that the speculation may be coming to an end soon, although Bethesda did not say exactly when they would make their more substantial announcement.

Bethesda also tweeted that they are looking to do a "complete overhaul" of "Fallout 4's" survival mode.

In the tweet, the studio also mentioned different gameplay elements such as food and sleep, seemingly hinting at the possibility that these aspects of "Fallout 4's" survival mode could be among those affected by the overhaul.

At this point, Bethesda is still keeping a lot of things close to the vest when it comes to "Fallout 4's" DLC, although that may be changing sooner rather than later.
