Patch 1.3 is now ready to download for the personal computer (PC) version of "Fallout 4."

The patch rolling out now was actually introduced to players back in January as a beta update, GameSpot reported.

For "Fallout 4" players who did not download the new patch when it was first released in its beta form, the latest update is adding a variety of features and fixes to the PC port of the game.

Starting off with the new additions, patch 1.3 is adding status menu for the folks that have set down roots in the player's settlements.

The latest patch is also adding ambient occlusion setting as well as new weapon debris effects to help improve the playing experience.

Players will also be able to enjoy improved "ESDF" remapping support whenever they enter into "Fallout 4's" workshop mode, thanks to the new patch.

Speaking of workshop mode, patch 1.3 is also expected to help improve the overall performance of this particular aspect of the game, according to PC Gamer. Hopefully, the improvements can help make constructing elaborate settlements easier than before.

As always, the new "Fallout 4" patch is also addressing several of the bugs and glitches that are found in the game.

One noteworthy bug that the patch is fixing is related to Macready's Killshot perk. Thanks to the new patch, headshot percentages will now be calculated correctly even when the perk is in effect.

Some instances that would lead to NPCs getting stuck in Power Armors have also been addressed by the new patch.

Companions will also no longer be saddled with radiation poisoning any longer than they are supposed to, thanks to the patch.

There are also numerous other quest-specific fixes included in the new "Fallout 4" patch to go with all the other tweaks.

Patch 1.3 is currently available only for the PC version of "Fallout 4," although the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 variants should be released sometime later in the week.
