The underwater world inside "Fallout 4" is largely a mystery to many, but thanks to the efforts of one player, the mysteries of the deep have at least been partially uncovered.

The "Fallout 4" player who goes by the Reddit username "Lavonicus" recently spent up to 30 hours simply combing through the game's underwater world and he has charted the results for everyone to see.

Thanks to "Lavonicus," players now have a handy map they can use during their underwater travels, but unfortunately, it may not live up to what some have expected. The map is mostly filled with markings indicating interesting locations or some treasures underwater, but before anyone gets too excited, the items are, apparently, just the standard Wasteland fare, according to Game Rant.

Still, some of the locations are worth seeing, and one in particular seems to hint that there could be more to it in the near future.

Among the many things that "Lavonicus" was able to spot underwater is an unusual sphere that appears to have something written on it. According to PC Gamer, the writing on the sphere appears to say "new," but interpreting what that means at this point would be difficult.

"Lavonicus" has indicated that he believes he has covered just about all of "Fallout 4's" underwater world, although he did also reveal that he still plans to go back and continue his aquatic travels in the future.

"Lavonicus" has also predicted that he will have more areas to explore in the future as he expects Bethesda to eventually add more aquatic locations as DLC in the future.

Bethesda has yet to announce what they will be adding to the game as DLC, although fans have continually predicted that underwater content will be coming to "Fallout 4" soon.

With new content expected to be released for "Fallout 4" next year, fans will finally find out if there really is more to be seen underneath the waves.
