'Fallout 4' secrets and glitches in Bethesda's newest offering

"Fallout 4" Bethesda Softworks

Not more than a week after its release, players continue to discover hidden things that litter the Wastelands in "Fallout 4." The things that Bethesda left for players to discover are not limited to secret rooms and items, though, as players have also discovered a number of glitches this early.

According to iDigital Trends, one of the glitches that players must be wary of is in one of the missions in the "Settlement" quest, as entering a specific area may crash the game and halt player progress. The bug seems to be present in all versions of the title.

The website indicated that reports from players who have experienced the glitch have been pouring in and posted on different forums and threads. Apparently, "Fallout 4" crashes for no reason when players attempt to enter Monsignor as part of the "Settlement" mission events.

The bug may be copy-specific, as some players have also mentioned that they have passed the described "Settlement" storyline without suffering from the glitch.

Meanwhile, aside from glitches and bugs, it seems that "Fallout 4" also has a number of Easter eggs and secrets for players to find. Recent reports pointed to Bethesda installing a developer room for "Fallout 4," much like what it did with "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." In the PC version of the "Fallout" installment" entering a code in the console transported players into a developer room, which was littered with all the in-game items necessary for survival.

In addition to the developer room, iDigitalTimes also reported that a secret location can be found on top of the Green Wall in Diamond City. Scaling the very top of the area will open a new location with a Power Armor docking station and mini nuke ammo.

Players have been finding secret locations and glitches early on in the game, and some fans expect there is more to come as gamers progress in "Fallout 4."
