"Fallout 4" provides players with hours upon hours of gameplay, but it appears as though some content items were left out of the actual game. 

Thanks to a new video report shared by Kotaku's Patricia Hernandez, "Fallout 4" players can now get a better grasp on what they may have been denied.

The main focus of the video is on an area inside "Fallout 4" known as the Combat Zone.

In the actual game, the Combat Zone is a place where players can encounter a bunch of raiders as well as acquire the services of a new companion named Cait.

Although the location does yield a valuable addition in the form of a new companion, it looks like it could have been so much more, at least according to some recently discovered audio files.

The contents of the audio files indicate that the Combat Zone was originally meant to be a place where players could participate in a kind of bloodsport where they would be rewarded for beating opponents. The audio files also seem to indicate that players may have even been able to square off against Cait at one point.

As "Fallout 4" players know, that version of the Combat Zone is not what they got, although it's entirely possible that Bethesda could still add that those other features to the game as DLC.

The video also revealed that a mission known as "20 Leagues Under the Sea" was, apparently, part of "Fallout 4" at some point. The mission may have even required players to venture deep into an underwater vault, according to Digital Trends.

Unfortunately, this mission is not included in the actual "Fallout 4" game, although such too could be added later on as some kind of DLC.

With "Fallout 4" players now aware of some of the stuff they have missed out on, Bethesda now has the task of ensuring that the DLC they deliver to the game can be better than some of the things they have already cut out from it.
