Though there still isn't any word on whether Sony has finally decided to lift the restrictions on the mod support of "Fallout 4" on PS4, it seems like Bethesda has sent out a new update giving out both fixes and mod support for the PS4 version of the popular post-apocalyptic action role-playing game, "Fallout 4."

Express reports that while Sony's restriction on the use of outside assets and its 1 GB download limit for "Skyrim" and "Fallout 4" mods on PS4 still hasn't been lifted, Bethesda has indicated that it wouldn't be giving up on delivering the full "Fallout 4" mod experience that Xbox One and PC users have been providing gamers playing the game on the PS4.

Though Sony's restrictions are still in place, Bethesda is trying to move forward by confirming that "Fallout 4" is going to be included in the list of Sony's PS4 Pro games. Though a specific release date for the game hasn't been issued as of yet, the videogame developer has announced that it was definitely going to have "Fallout 4" in the newest Sony console.

The best thing about the game releasing on PS4 Pro is that "Fallout 4" will be getting good mod support on the new Sony console once it releases.

"PS4 Players can expect PS4 Pro support in our next title update for Fallout 4," the studio's latest message revealed.

Peter Hines, the vice president of Bethesda also elaborated that though the company still isn't sure whether they can remove the limit on the external assets of the PS4 mod support for "Fallout 4" in the future, Bethesda has managed to apply the same kind of Xbox One and PC mod support put into the PS4 Pro.

In other "Fallout 4" PS4 mod news, Kotaku reports that a lot of mods have gone live on PS4 for "Fallout 4" since Bethesda sent out update 1.8. These functional mods include the Pleasing Piper Attitude Adjuster, the Dismemberment Overhaul, and Guidion's Birthday Suit.
