It looks like there's a long wait ahead for the "Fallout 4" PlayStation 4 mods. Even Bethesda Softworks head of public relations and marketing Pete Hines has no concrete news to share.

Hines has been answering queries from fans on Twitter about the status of the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods, which should have been released at the end of June.

The Bethesda executive said that there's no news and information to share at the moment as they await the "evaluation process" for the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods and what they will discover from there.

Hines also admitted that he does not know if a beta for the mods in the Sony console will be conducted. After all, the Xbox mods for "Fallout 4" got one.

Back in June, promised a quick beta for the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods and around that time, Bethesda eve said the beta is "is close to ready." Due to the delay, unfortunately, this might be completely scrapped.

However, with Bethesda itself seemingly in the dark about the status of "Fallout 4" PS4 mods, there is not much news and updates to share about the feature.

The mods were delayed due to some serious issues that arose during the development. For a start, the PS4 mods were limited to 900MB, which is very little compared to 2GB on the Xbox One.

There were also glaring issues on the sound files, which do not seem to function in the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods. There were also problems in the memory and performance.

The issues seem to be difficult to fix, seeing that the mods are still not available a little over a month after its original release. Bethesda has already said that it is working with Sony to fix the issues.

At the moment, there's no way of knowing when the "Fallout 4" PS4 mods will be available.
