While most of the details about "Fallout 4" have not yet been announced, it remains as a highly anticipated game especially for PC, PS4, and Xbox One users, Cinemablend has reported.  Bethesda Game Studios, however, has not confirmed the official "Fallout 4" release date.  The company has stated their preference to surprise their fans as opposed to announcing details ahead of the actual release.

Rumors on the post-apocalyptic RPG's fourth installment immediately surfaced when "Fallout 3" was released in 2008, although much of the information had been left unconfirmed.

The studio may have begun working on the game way back in February 2012. Bethesda's development arm referred to "an unannounced game on future-generation consoles" and for the PC back then, which could be the the RPG. When the studio wrapped up its work on Skyrim's "DLC", it is assumed that Bethesda has moved on to the next game, "Fallout 4."

"Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio's full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet," the studio pointed out.

Meanwhile, since it is believed that the game's development was initiated last year, and its predecessor "Fallout 3" had already been made available to the public six years ago, rumors have surfaced that the "Fallout 4" release date may be set on November 2014.

However, the gaming community has been weighing in on the possibilities, especially since the upcoming game is being created for new consoles PS4 and Xbox One, which Bethesda has less knowledge of.

On top of these, if "Fallout 4" will be made available on PS3 and Xbox 360, the studio may lengthen the waiting time for a few more months. As such, reports have been drawing attention to a possible "Fallout 4" release date in the middle of 2015 at the earliest, or possibly in early 2016.
