"Fallout 4" has undoubtedly become one of the most anticipated games when Bethesda let the world know about it. But since 2013, there hasn't been any solid information as to when the game will be released for the different gaming platforms.

Indeed, fans are still left clueless about "Fallout 4's" release date. The Internet hoax and false rumors aren't helping either.

A report from Internationl Business Times detailed one of the recent news hoaxes about the game, pointed out by MrMattyPlays, a gamer and a YouTube user. The hoax involves a tweet from Pete Hines that allegedly indicated that he was working on the game. Another hoax indicated that Hines and a senior director for the game missed a flight, which resulted in a missed recording session with Ron Pertman.

MrMattyPlays claims that these are fake updates. The images shown are pixelated, which points to the images being photoshopped. Unfortunately, due the lack of updates from Bethesda, gaming fans have become vulnerable to any news headed their way.

Meanwhile, there are two more recent updates for "Fallout 4" that may have some truth to it. The first is that there will be a multiplayer game mode, a first for the game. This speculation began when Josh Hamrick, a senior multiplayer designer, moved from Bungee to Bethesda. Now, he is speculated to be working on the multiplayer element of "Fallout 4."

How are the fans responding to this rumor? Many wonder why there's a need to add a multi-player game element since this takes away the original concept of "Fallout" which is being a lone wanderer.

The next news is that Bethesda might actually reveal important information as well as the game's release date at the Electronic Entertainment Expo event this year. Bethesda has already confirmed its participation at the E3 2015 press conference this June, where they will unveil their other games. Fans can only hope that Bethesda also has some solid news for "Fallout 4" by then.
