Melee weapons are plentiful in "Fallout 4," although they often don't get as much attention as more players prefer to take on the harmful residents of the Wasteland with their guns.

Still, for players looking to try out a more up close and personal approach to "Fallout 4," there are some must-have weapons they will want to get.

One melee weapon that is definitely worth trying out in the game is Grognak's Axe.

Grognak's Axe can be located inside Hubris Comics, a location not too far from Diamond City. Players who are having a hard time finding it can first try to get the Silver Shroud quest, as completing the task will require them to pay a visit to Hubris Comics. Grognak's Axe is kept in a glass case situated inside the first floor of Hubris Comics.

Prior to venturing inside Hubris Comics, players should first ensure that they have at least a medium level lockpicking skill, as they will need it to open the glass case containing Grognak's Axe, according to Game Rant.

Once "Fallout 4" players have Grognak's Axe in their possession, they can make it even more potent by investing points into the Big Leagues. With a fully-leveled Big Leagues perk, Grognak's Axe becomes capable of striking down opponents with a single blow, or failing that, it can still deal some bleed damage and even be used to disarm opponents.

Another melee weapon worth looking for inside "Fallout 4" is a sword known as General Chao's Revenge.

This sword is easy to find as all players need to do is to purchase it from Trudy over at the Drumlin Diner. The diner itself is located just south of the Museum of Freedom, according to VG 247.

"Fallout 4" players will likely see a confrontation involving Trudy and some other non-player characters upon first visiting the Drumlin Diner. If players want to purchase the sword, then they should make sure not to harm her during the course of the confrontation.

General Chao's Revenge can deal around 70 points of damage, and it is even deadlier against robotic foes, making it a potent melee weapon inside "Fallout 4."
