'Fallout 4' update: Game's secret that remained hidden until DICE Summit 2016 teased

Bethesda

The DICE Summit 2016, held on Feb. 16 to 18, featured Todd Howard, director of "Fallout 4" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," and he shed some light on Bethesda Game Studios' future projects. During the interview, he also hinted that there is this secret that no one has yet discovered in "Fallout 4."

"Fallout 4" was released on Nov. 10, 2015 and after more than three months in the open, there is still one tiny secret that players have not discovered yet. Howard hinted that it has something to do with a Terminal.

This being said, many "Fallout 4" players will be rushing into the game and will start scrutinizing every Terminal they run across, just to find this little secret. Gamerant added that this could reveal more concrete information about the future Bethesda projects.

During the interview session, Howard was asked about the future projects of Bethesda. The game developer is currently busy with three projects.

Howard said, as quoted by GameSpot, "We have three longer-term projects we're doing that are all ... we'll talk about them at a much future date. But they're different than anything we've done before while also being a Bethesda-style game; big and crazy. But in many ways different than things we've done before."

However, the game director did not confirm if any of the projects has something with "Fallout 5." Howard simply laughed when asked directly.

In related news, Bethesda announced on their website and Twitter account this week that "Fallout 4" will be having three add-ons this year -- "Automatron," "Wasteland Workshop" and "Far Harbor." "Automatron" will be available in March for $9.99 USD, "Wasteland Workshop" will be released in April for $4.99 USD, and by May, it will be "Far Harbor" for $24.99 USD.

Bethesda will also be increasing the price for the season pass. Effective March 1, it will be raised from $29.99 USD to $49.99 USD. Fans will get more than $60 worth of "Fallout" DLC. For current season pass holders, there will be no additional charges. They will still get the entire 2016 offering.

"Fallout 4" is available for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
