"Fallout 4 VR" is one of the most anticipated virtual reality (VR) games this year, and the game is making the world of VR more accessible for newcomers, as HTC announced a great deal for its VR headset. Customers who purchase the HTC Vive headset will receive a free redemption code for "Fallout 4 VR."

Consumers with the code can redeem their free game when the title gets released on Dec. 12. This freebie is valued at $59.99 and is a great deal for those who are just getting into the new VR technology trend.

"Fallout 4" is a great game to experience in VR, as its atmosphere and open-world gameplay will take advantage of Vive's incredible room-scale immersion technology. The system's sub millimeter tracking will also be useful to provide ultra-responsive and accurate controls. This would surely give players a fresh and mind-blowing experience of the Wasteland.

To add to the deal, HTC is also offering three months of free subscription to its gaming service called Viveport. Normally, the subscription costs $6.99 monthly.

The offering is the latest in HTC's efforts to bring the Vive to a larger consumer market. This summer, the company cut $200 off of the original price of the headset, bringing it down from $799 to $599.

While "Fallout 4" is an excellent title, it is yet to be seen how huge games like it will translate to VR experience. As the technology is still pretty new, this partnership may help solidify the VR as the future of gaming platforms.
