'Fallout Shelter' update: Halloween-themed new DLC content out

Halloween is just around the corner and "Fallout Shelter" will surely be aware of that, thanks to the new update released for the game.

First off, the Halloween-themed update introduces new decorations for some of the fully upgraded rooms inside the game, according to iDigital Times.

Examples of this include the diner that now prominently features orange and black colors as well as the cliche but always welcome addition of cobwebs, all built around the centerpiece of the remodeled area that is now a witch's cauldron. Spooky looking jack-o'-lanterns have also been added to complete that distinct Halloween look.

"Fallout Shelter's" barracks have also been changed with the arrival of the latest update, and on top of the traditional Halloween decor, players will also be able to see some ghosts making their rounds in the halls.

Both the diner and the barracks also feature new background music to really get players into that Halloween spirit.

Players will also be glad to know that there will be new Halloween costumes coming to "Fallout Shelter," according to Digital Trends.

Certain players have already said that they have managed to receive new costumes via the lunchboxes in "Fallout Shelter," although these may take some luck to acquire.

Apparently, looking through lunchboxes is not the only way to get the new costumes as they may also be acquired through visiting the game's Wasteland and stumbling upon them.

The latest update also changes something beyond decorations and outfits inside "Fallout Shelter."

A previous update for the game set a cap for explorers that could be let out into the Wasteland at 10, and that, apparently, did not sit well with a lot of players.

The cap has now been removed with the arrival of the latest Halloween update, and players can now explore the Wasteland more freely once again.
