"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is set to release in theaters soon and an announcement from Pottermore has confirmed that the screen play for the film will be released as a physical and digital book. This will be the first screen play written and published by author J.K. Rowling.

According to the announceent, the book will be released on Nov. 19, a day after the movie launches in theaters. This will ensure that fans get to watch the movie before they gain access to the book. The film itself is based on a book of the same name, also by J.K. Rowling, which served as a type of encyclopedia of the different magical creatures that exist in the "Harry Potter" world.

The screen play, as well as the film that utilizes this script, focuses on Newt Scamander during the 1920s as he travels the world to document every living magical creature. It will also be the first time that the American side of the magical wizarding world will be explored.

Fans of the "Harry Potter" books and films will also recognize that the book Scamander later publishes is used as one of the textbooks Harry studies during his time in Hogwarts. The magical map that Harry Potter uses in the films also reveals that Scamander is alive in the 2000s and may be working, visiting or living in Hogwarts.

Rowling is also publishing the screen play for "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," a theater play that many fans around the world will not be able to see. The published script will allow fans to experience the story that continues the adventures of Harry Potter even if they are not able to fly to London and watch the play in person.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will release in theaters on Nov. 18.
